What Is Known About Isaac Berry#

Isaac Berry was born about 1768 in Orange County, North Carolina, one of the ten children of Robert and Elizabeth Cate Berry. He had a daughter by Lydia Berry, though it is not known whether Isaac and Lydia were married.

Isaac lived at the Fiddleton Plantation in Orange County and died there after 1830.

Very little else has been documented about Isaac’s life. Further research is needed to understand his story more fully.

Born 1832 — Died August 31, 1910, Person County, NC
Married Samuel Hunley on December 18, 1850. Mary Ann and Samuel had several children, including Liddy Hunley, Thomas J. Hunley, David R. Hunley, Julius S. Hunley, Ida E. Hunley, Mary A. Hunley, William Hunley, Cora L. Hunley, and Hilda Hunley (1877–1955), who married Thomas Horner in 1896.
