The book covers the Robert Berry Family — 10 children who migrated from Virginia to North Carolina to many points west. Our Y-DNA project has 14 participants of living descendants. There is a chapter for each of the 10 children of Robert and Elizabeth Cate Berry, who were married about 1757 and established a large plantation in Orange County, North Carolina.

Any male Berry who would like to know if he is related to our Berry Family can find out by taking a simple saliva Y-DNA test. We have 14 participants and an excellent base to compare with. We are the Orange County NC Berrys in the FamilyTreeDNA project.
